حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فِي جُمُعَةٍ مِنَ الْجُمَعِ " يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ عِيدًا فَاغْتَسِلُوا وَمَنْ كَانَ عِنْدَهُ طِيبٌ فَلاَ يَضُرُّهُ أَنْ يَمَسَّ مِنْهُ وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ " .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Ibn as-Sabbaq that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said in a jumua, "Muslims! Allah has made this day a festival day (id) so do ghusl, and it will not harm whoever has perfume to apply some of it, and use a tooth-stick
عبیداللہ بن سباق سے روایت ہے کہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کسی جمعہ کو فرمایا کہ یہ وہ دن ہے جس کو اللہ تعالیٰ نے عید کا دن کہا ہے تو غسل کرو اور جس کے پاس خوشبو ہو تو آج کے دن خوشبو لگانا نقصان نہیں ہے اور لازم کرلو تم مسواک کو ۔
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ لِلرُّكْنِ الأَسْوَدِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ حَجَرٌ وَلَوْلاَ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَبَّلَكَ مَا قَبَّلْتُكَ ثُمَّ قَبَّلَهُ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that Umar ibn al-Khattab said to the corner of the Black Stone while he was doing tawaf of the House, "You are only a stone, and if I had not seen the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, kiss you, I would not do so." Then he kissed it. Malik said, "I have heard some of the people of knowledge recommending someone doing tawaf of the House to put his hand to his mouth when he takes it from the Yamani corner
عروہ بن زبیر سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر بن خطاب نے فرمایا جب وہ طواف کر رہے تھے خانہ کعبہ کا حجر اسود کو! کہ تو ایک پتھر ہے نہ نفع پہنچا سکتا ہے نہ نقصان اور اگر میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تجھے چومتے نہ دیکھا ہوتا تو میں نہ چومتا تجھ کو پھر چوما حجر اسود کو۔
