وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كُنْتُ أُرَجِّلُ رَأْسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "I used to comb the head of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while I was menstruating
حضرت عائشہ نے کہا کنگھی کرتی تھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سر مبارک میں اور حائضہ ہوتی تھی ۔
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي سُهَيْلِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ ثَائِرُ الرَّأْسِ يُسْمَعُ دَوِيُّ صَوْتِهِ وَلاَ نَفْقَهُ مَا يَقُولُ حَتَّى دَنَا فَإِذَا هُوَ يَسْأَلُ عَنِ الإِسْلاَمِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " خَمْسُ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي الْيَوْمِ وَاللَّيْلَةِ " . قَالَ هَلْ عَلَىَّ غَيْرُهُنَّ قَالَ " لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَطَّوَّعَ " . قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَصِيَامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ " . قَالَ هَلْ عَلَىَّ غَيْرُهُ قَالَ " لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَطَّوَّعَ " . قَالَ وَذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الزَّكَاةَ . فَقَالَ هَلْ عَلَىَّ غَيْرُهَا قَالَ " لاَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَطَّوَّعَ " . قَالَ فَأَدْبَرَ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ وَاللَّهِ لاَ أَزِيدُ عَلَى هَذَا وَلاَ أَنْقُصُ مِنْهُ . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَفْلَحَ الرَّجُلُ إِنْ صَدَقَ " .
Yahya related to me from Malik from his paternal uncle Abu Suhayl ibn Malik that his father heard Talha ibn Ubaydullah say, "Once one of the people of Najd came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. He had dishevelled hair and although his voice could be heard we could not make out what he was saying until he drew nearer and then we found he was asking about Islam. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him, 'There are five prayers during the day and the night.' He said, 'Do I have to do anything else besides that?' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, added, 'And fasting the month of Ramadan.' He said, 'Is there anything else I have to do?' He said, 'No, except what you do of your own accord.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, mentioned zakat. The man said, 'Is there anything else that I have to do?' He said, 'No, except what you do of your own accord.' He continued, "The man went away saying, 'By Allah, I won't do any more than this, nor will I do any less.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'That man will be successful, if he is telling the truth
طلحہ بن عبیداللہ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ کہتے تھے کہ آیا ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس نجد کا رہنے والا اس کے سر کے بال بکھرے ہوئے تھے اور اس کی آواز کی بھنبھناہٹ سنائی دیتی تھی لیکن اس کی بات سمجھ میں نہ آتی تھی یہاں تک کہ قریب آیا تو وہ پوچھتا تھا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسلام کے معنی فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پانچ نمازیں پڑھنا رات دن میں تب وہ شخص بولا سوا ان کے اور بھی کوئی نماز مجھ پر ہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نہیں مگر نفل پڑھنا چاہے تو تو پڑھ فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اور روزے رمضان کے بولا سوا ان کے اور بھی کوئی روزہ مجھ پر ہے فرمایا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہیں مگر نفل رکھے تو پھر ذکر کیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے زکوة کا وہ شخص بولا اس کے سوا بھی کچھ صدقہ مجھ پر فرض ہے فرمایا نہیں مگر اگر اللہ چاہے تو دے پس پیٹھ موڑ کر چلا وہ شخص تب فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بیڑا اس کا پار ہوا اگر سچ بولا ۔
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، أَخْبَرَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " أَلَمْ تَرَىْ أَنَّ قَوْمَكِ حِينَ بَنَوُا الْكَعْبَةَ اقْتَصَرُوا عَنْ قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ " . قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلاَ تَرُدُّهَا عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لَوْلاَ حِدْثَانُ قَوْمِكِ بِالْكُفْرِ لَفَعَلْتُ " . قَالَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ لَئِنْ كَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ سَمِعَتْ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَا أُرَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَرَكَ اسْتِلاَمَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ اللَّذَيْنِ يَلِيَانِ الْحِجْرَ إِلاَّ أَنَّ الْبَيْتَ لَمْ يُتَمَّمْ عَلَى قَوَاعِدِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ .
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim ibn Abdullah that Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakras-Siddiq told Abdullah ibn Umar from A'isha, that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Don't you see that when your people built the Kaba they fell short of the foundations of Ibrahim?" A'isha said, "Messenger of Allah, won't you return it to the foundations of Ibrahim?" and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "If it were not that your people have only recently left kufr, I would have done so." Salim ibn Abdullah said that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "If A'isha heard this from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, then I consider that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, only refrained from greeting the two corners which are adjacent to the Hijr because the House had not been completed on the foundations of Ibrahim." (i.e. the corners he did not touch were not the original corners of the Kaba)
روایت ہے حضرت ام المومنین عائشہ سے کہ فرمایا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہ تیری قوم نے جب بنایا کعبہ کو تو حضرت ابراہیم نے جیسے بنایا تھا اس میں کمی کی، حضرت عائشہ نے کہا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم آپ اس کو جیسے حضرت ابراہیم نے بنایا تھا ویسا کیوں نہیں بنا دیتے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر تیری قوم کا کفر قریب نہ ہوتا تو میں بنا دیتا۔ عبداللہ بن عمر نے کہا اسی وجہ سے شاید رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے رکن شامی اور عراقی کو جو حطیم کے متصل ہیں استلام نہ کیا کیونکہ خانہ کبعہ ابراہیم کی بنا پر نہ تھا ۔
